American Wood Working Machines B30 Bandsaw

Brought the bandsaw home in pieces. A lot of it literally in a bucket! I started this project about a month ago by trying to reassemble the bandsaw just to identify all the pieces and see if I could find any missing pieces. I found an old catalog and this photos. Look familiar?

Then a few weeks latter when I can start on it I have to tear it all back down.

The saw had been primed by the previous owner so it was in a lot better shape than most of the stuff I have drug into the shop. Restoring it will be rather quick and painless. So far the only missing pieces are not anything critical and can be fabricated fairly easy. Well, so far that is the case. That has a tendency to change as time goes along.

Once the saw was apart it was just a matter of cleaning up the peices, most were in good shape with a primer on them. Then a couple coats of paint. Most of the parts are painted and just waiting to be installed. I am not always as patient as I should be when it comes to assembly. I have trouble waiting for the paint to adequately dry. Here is the color combo. I tried gold wheels and didn't like it.
